This paper talks about the children characters of Mark Twain’s depiction, giving a general introduction of Twain’s children characters. The paper has made a characteristic analysis of Huck and Tom in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and has explored the adult appeal of Twain’s novels. The analysis of the paper leads to a conclusion. Mark Twain’s true intention is to give adult society a lesson. This paper hopes to help people to have a better understanding of Twin’s children novels and instruct people to explore the implied meanings behind the children characters of Mark Twain’s novels.
