汉语成语和英语成语中的文化差异

跨文化交际中，英语成语和汉语成语在文化和表达上存在差异，因而引起了语言上的许多误解。汉语成语蕴含着丰富的文化内涵，它来源广泛，很大程度上反映了中华民族独特的文化特征。英语成语同样也有丰富的文化内涵，反映着西方文化的特征。本文首先从宗教、历史、文学以及语言的角度来阐述两种成语中承载的中西方文化差异，其次，从地域、历史和宗教三方面阐述文化差异对成语的影响来区分汉语成语和英语成语的不同表达方式。进而按意义和形式对英语成语进行分类，并在结论部分突出两种语言中的文化差异。

Cultural Differences in Chinese Idioms and English Idioms

Abstract: In intercultural communication, English idioms and Chinese idioms are different in culture and expression, which leads to many misunderstandings in language. Chinese idioms contain rich cultural connotations, which are widely distributed to a large extent, reflecting the unique cultural characteristics of the Chinese nation. English idioms also have rich cultural connotations, reflecting the characteristics of western culture. This paper first expounds the differences between the Chinese and Western cultures in the two idioms from the perspective of religion, history, literature and language. Secondly, from the three aspects of region, history and religion, this paper expounds the influence of cultural differences on idioms to distinguish the different expressions of Chinese idioms and English idioms. Then we classify English idioms according to meaning and form, and highlight the cultural differences in two languages in the conclusion part.
