浅析乔纳森.斯威夫特在《格列佛游记》中的讽刺艺术

乔纳森.斯威夫特是18世纪英国最杰出的政论家和讽刺小说家，讽刺是他最显著的写作特点，其中《格列佛游记》是斯威夫特最佳的讽刺小说。作者以游记的形式，讲述了格列佛在四国的奇遇。作者用丰富的讽刺手法和虚构幻想的离奇情节，深刻地剖析了当时的英国社会现实。本文从讽刺的手法、讽刺的指向和讽刺的美学意义来探讨“英国第一狂生”斯威夫特在《格列佛游记》中独特的讽刺艺术。

Abstract

Swift is one of the most outstanding politicians and satirist novelists in the early 18th century, and satire is his most prominent writing feature. Gulliver's Travels is Swift's best satire novel. In the form of travel notes, the author tells Gulliver's adventures in Lilliput, Brodingnag, Flying Island and Houyhnhnm land. The author deeply analyzed the social reality of England at that time with rich satire and absurd plots of fictional fantasy. This article discusses Swift's unique satire art in Gulliver's Travels from three aspects: satirical techniques, satirical points and satirical aesthetic significance.
