The Difference in Frequently-used Social Address Forms in Business between English and ChineseAbstract: This paper firstly shows the importance of the address forms in business affairs. Secondly, it reviews the researches in the address forms both at home and abroad. Thirdly, this thesis delves into the social etiquette in business, and then gets frequently-used social address forms in business circle between English and Chinese. Then, it discusses the different usage of frequently-used social address forms between English and Chinese and explains some reasons for the differences. At last, it elucidates the significance of this paper: the contrastive analysis of social address forms can help the business man to have a thorough understanding on how to use them properly in both languages, thus, achieving more effective intercultural business communication.Key words: address forms; social address forms; the social etiquette in business; frequently-used social address forms

摘要: 本文首先介绍称谓在商务交往中的重要性并回顾了中外对这一领域的研究；然后，文章结合商务社交礼仪知识，得出中英商务社交礼仪中常见的社交称谓；接着本文阐述了常用社交称谓在中英商务交往中的使用差异及产生差异的原因；最后，文章阐述写作意义：社交称谓的对比分析可使商人对称谓在英汉两种语言中的运用有大致了解，进而在中英商务交往中取得更好的效益。
