黄河三角洲是黄河的重要组成部分，是中国三大江河三角洲之一，也是世界著名的河流三角洲。黄河三角洲早期的农耕文明与渔盐业生产，为黄河三角洲地区提供了丰富独特的饮食物产，黄河三角洲文化博大精深，源远流长，地方特色鲜明。黄河三角洲民间饮食文化具有丰富的内涵和鲜明的民族特征，经过长期的历史演变在民间逐步形成了独具特色的“礼”、“孝”、“和”的饮食文化观，影响着人们的日常行为规范。本文通过对黄河三角洲地理环境的研究和饮食文化的探求，在继承传统饮食文化的同时，倡导更加科学的饮食习俗、普及健康的饮食知识；为弘扬和发展本地区饮食文化找到科学、合理的出路；与文化、旅游、经济相结合，为带动本地区的经济发展做出应有的贡献，把黄河三角洲地区的饮食文化推向全国，推向世界。
