数学具有抽象性、概括性和逻辑性的特点，教师在教学过程中无法将自己的经验简单复制到幼儿的头脑中。幼儿只有依靠自己的经验，通过自己的思维活动，才能对数学获得真实的理解。教育家说：'玩具是幼儿的天使，游戏是幼儿的伴侣'，幼儿就是在游戏中、在玩中一天天长大和进步的。因此，把抽象的数学知识与生动活泼的游戏紧密结合起来，能够调动幼儿学习数学的积极性、主动性；使幼儿在愉快的氛围里自发地学习数学、应用数学，并获得有益的经验。
