留守儿童日益成为社会新的不稳定因素，他们将对和谐社会的构建产生威胁，因此关注留守儿童心理问题对构建和谐社会有着巨大的意义。由于当今留守儿童的状况不容乐观，他们的心理存在着各种各样的问题，因此家庭、学校、政府、社会以及留守儿童自身都应当采取措施改善留守儿童的心理问题。
