英汉思维差异与英语写作教学探究

 

摘要

英语写作是英语教学中的重要组成部分,一个人的英语写作水平反映了他的英语水平的高低。然而,由于受不同环境和文化背景的影响,汉语思维模式与英语思维模式存在很大差异,导致中国学生在英语写作中出现许多不符合英语习惯的表达方式,容易引起以英语为母语的人的误解。本论文探讨英汉思维模式方面的差异,分析其对我国学生英语写作及教学的影响,并提出相应措施,使我国学生对英汉思维模式差异有一个系统化的认识,从而自觉地改变传统的汉语思维模式,提高中学英语写作及教学水平。

Discussion on the Differences of Thinking Patterns
between English and Chinese and English Writing
 

Abstract

English writing is an important part of English teaching. One’s English writing level reflects his English proficiency. However, due to different environments and cultural background, there are differences of thinking patterns between English and Chinese and many expressions of Chinese middle school students in English writing are inconsistent with English habits of expression, which can easily cause misunderstanding of native English speakers. This paper, discusses the differences of thinking patterns between English and Chinese, analyzes their effects on English writing and teaching, and puts forward relevant measures so that students have a systematic understanding of the Chinese and English thinking patterns, change their traditional Chinese thinking patterns, and improve the level of English writing and teaching in middle schools.
